Application

This section explains how to conﬁgure the Network Camera to react in response to particular

situations. A typical application is that when a motion is detected, the Network Camera sends

buffered images to a FTP server or via e-mail as notiﬁcations.

To start plotting an event, it is suggested to conﬁgure server and media columns ﬁrst so that the

Network Camera will know what action shall be performed when a trigger is activated.

Media Settings

In Media Settings column, click Add to open the media setting page. In this page, you can

specify what kind of media to send when a trigger is activated. A total of ﬁve media settings can

be conﬁgured.

ex. Motion detection,

Periodically, Digital input,

System reboot

ex. Snapshot, Video Clips

Action

In the illustation on the right side, an event

can be triggered by many sources, such

as motion detection or external digital

input devices. When an event is triggered,

you can specify what kind of action will be

performed. You can configure the Network

Camera to send snapshots or videos to your

email address or FTP site.
