Application
This section explains how to congure the Network Camera to react in response to particular
situationsA typical application is that when a motion is detected, the Network Camera sends
buffered images to a FTP server or via e-mail as notications.
To start plotting an event, it is suggested to congure server and media columns rst so that the
Network Camera will know what action shall be performed when a trigger is activated�
Media Settings
In Media Settings column, click Add to open the media setting page� On this page, you can
specify what kind of media to send when a trigger is activated. A total of ve media settings can
be congured.
ex. Motion detection,
Periodically, Digital input,
System reboot
Event Trigger
ex. Snapshot, Video Clips
ex. Email, FTP
Media

(where to send)
Action
In the illustration on the right side, an event
can be triggered by many sources, such
as motion detection or external digital
input devices� When an event is triggered,
you can specify what kind of action will be
performed� You can configure the Network
Camera to send snapshots or videos to your
email address or FTP site�
